Riverfront Packing owns groves (4,000 acres of primarily grapefruit, with a small amount of lemons and oranges) and is also an international marketing company — 85% of its grapefruit is shipped internationally. The company employs more than 140. Richey, who has been with the company for 39 years, is responsible for all functions of Riverfront Packing, with a focus on the marketing in Europe and Asia.
