EDUCATION University of Florida (BA, MS)
SOMETHING SURPRISING Over the last 12 months, I have hiked a section of the Appalachian Trail, kayaked both whitewater and flat water and have taken a class to certify me as a whitewater raft guide.
FLORIDA LOVE In Florida, I can kayak mangrove forests or hike areas that look like they did 100 years ago. And for the most part, these places are within 30 minutes of most urban areas.
ADMIRES Becky Lucas, president of Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties. Her driving passion is to help provide safe and affordable homes for working families in our community.
