BRENT GOLDMAN
CEO, XCEED PREPARATORY ACADEMY, WESTON
Goldman founded and runs four private schools (in Weston, Coral Springs, Kendall and Daytona Beach) and plans to expand to 15 locations. He started his career as a social studies teacher and football coach in the Broward County Public School system before co-founding Sagemont School in 1996 and growing it to more than 800 students. In 2001, he was part of a group that founded the University of Miami Online High School (UMOHS), the first SACS-accredited online high school in the U.S.
