Florida Atlantic University has more than 30,000 undergraduate and graduate students at six locations. The university, one of the largest employers in South Florida with more than 3,000 employees, is conducting millions of dollars’ worth of research in artificial intelligence, drug discovery, biotechnology, ocean engineering and marine science. Kelly became president in 2014.

| I occasionally lift weights and regularly take long walks around campus. I also try to eat a healthy diet in spite of the many dinner events I go to as part of my role at FAU.
