The BBIF provides small-business loans and financial coaching to minority-owned businesses. Long began her career as a staff accountant for a retail business but found the work to be “quite boring.” She entered the banking profession, found that she loved finance and says, “I learned that I could blend my corporate relationships with my community work to make the community a better place.”
