SBA Communications owns and operates wireless communications infrastructure — towers, buildings, rooftops, etc. The publicly owned company employs 1,500 in 14 countries. Stoops, who spent his first 13 years out of school as a lawyer, has been CEO for 20 years. He serves on a number of boards, including the Community Foundation of Palm Beach and Martin Counties, which formed a COVID-19 response fund in response to the pandemic and raised $4 million to help people in need.
