PARTNER, SHUMAKER, LOOP & KENDRICK, TAMPA
Yadley has worked across a broad range of industries and handled a wide range of transactions and financings of all sizes. His experience in capital raising, securities regulation and corporate governance was the basis for his selection as an inaugural member of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s small-business capital formation advisory committee. The committee is designed to provide a formal mechanism for the commission to receive advice and recommendations on commission rules, regulations and policy matters relating to small businesses, including smaller public companies. He is one of only three practicing lawyers on the 15-person committee. His firm, founded in 1925, “has chosen to remain medium-sized” with 260 attorneys.
|EDUCATION||Dartmouth College (BA), George Washington University Law School (JD)|
|FLORIDA ISSUE||Greater government and corporate support for the arts. The creativity expressed and self-confidence gained from participation in dance, music and theater help people learn about others and increases a sense of community.|
|LEADERSHIP||I have been increasingly rewarded by having done the right thing in the past. As a result, I continually receive referrals from other lawyers and former clients who feel that I can be trusted.|
