Gorson, who joined the firm in 1973 as its 14th lawyer, has practiced mostly in the area of real estate and once chaired the firm’s national real estate practice. The firm credits him as “instrumental in developing its reputation as a real estate powerhouse.” He supervises the firm’s operations in the southeastern U.S. and California. Gorson is founder and chairman of the Downtown Miami Charter School, serves on the board of trustees of Friends of the Underline and is also chair of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami.
