Weaver’s firm has grown to employ about 350 in five Florida offices, including 170 attorneys. Weaver, who has been with the firm for 42 years, is a highly regarded expert on land and property rights who lectures locally and nationally on real estate finance and land use and is the author of 200 articles in professional publications. During the Great Recession, he helped found a group called Real Estate Lives that helps displaced real estate industry workers find employment or new careers.
