BRETT MCCLUNG
PRESIDENT & CEO, BAPTIST HEALTH OF NORTHEAST FLORIDA, JACKSONVILLE
Founded in 1955, Baptist Health is Northeast Florida’s only locally governed, faith-based, mission-driven health system. Baptist Health’s distinctive programs include Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center; the area’s only dedicated heart hospital; a neurological institute, which includes a comprehensive stroke and cerebrovascular care program; Jacksonville Orthopedic Institute; a Bariatric Center of Excellence; an array of women’s services; and a growing regional presence for Wolfson Children’s Hospital, the only freestanding children’s hospital between Orlando and Atlanta. The system is the largest private-sector employer in the county, with 12,000 employees. McClung became president and CEO in 2019.
