Inzina has been with BayCare for 26 years and has been CEO since 2016. The system operates 15 hospitals and has 30,000 employees. Two years ago, BayCare began looking for a way to impact mental health and substance abuse issues and founded West Central Florida Mental Wellness Coalition, an independent, community-based organization that serves as a convener to help identify and implement best practices across the community.

|PROFESSIONAL EVOLUTION||I started college with a focus on pre-med but realized the clinical route wasn’t for me. I transferred to business and began my career in finance, but I wound up in health care after all.|

|ALTERNATE CAREER?||Given that I like to debate and argue about anything, I clearly would have been an attorney.|
