CEO, RCC ASSOCIATES, BOCA RATON
Raphael, who owned and operated a company for 15 years in the fashion industry in Miami, says, “It frequently surprises people that I own a construction company. I am more commonly expected to be involved in the fashion or design industry.”
After selling her company, she took over the leadership role at RCC after her husband, Richard Raphael, passed away in 1998. In business for 50 years, RCC Associates specializes in restaurant and hospitality projects. It has grown from $20 million in revenue to more than $100 million, with clients ranging from Harry Winston to Versace and the Cheesecake Factory, for whom RCC has completed over 75 projects nationally.
A critical issue Florida needs to address, Raphael says, is climate change and “how it is affecting our coastal water levels.”
