Massey says he had a rock and roll band in high school, “and I’m still asked to belt out a tune from time to time.”
His Massey Services is also rockin’ and rollin’. It employs more than 2,000 and operates in seven states, from Florida to Oklahoma. In 2014, Massey formed the Harvey and Carol Massey Foundation, contributing to the arts, health and education. The foundation has donated $5 million to the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center, $500,000 to Nemours Children’s Hospital for early childhood autism research and intervention and $250,000 to the Veterans Memorial Park of Central Florida, among other gifts.
