Bloomin’ Brands is one of the world’s largest casual dining companies with four founder-inspired brands: Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar. Smith was CEO of the company for 10 years and helped return it to profitability. The year before she joined Bloomin’ Brands (then named OSI Restaurant Partners), the company lost $739.4 million.
Prior to joining Bloomin’ Brands, Smith was president of Avon Products and had also worked at Kraft Foods as president of its U.S. beverage and grocery sectors.
She has an MBA from Stanford University.
