PARTNER, CO-CHAIR, BERGER SINGERMAN, FORT LAUDERDALE
Berger Singerman was founded in 1985 by Mitchell Berger, who is co-chair. James Berger, now managing partner, joined a year later. The firm now has 80 attorneys with offices in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and Tallahassee and is well known for its political engagement and philanthropy.
Mitchell Berger has a bachelor’s degree from Lafayette College and a law degree from Temple University. He practices in the area of commercial disputes and has more than 30 years of experience representing Fortune 500 companies. He believes strongly that for law to remain a profession, “lawyers will continue to have to put the interests of their clients before their own and not turn it into an industry.”
