ANA-MARIE CODINA BARLICK

Codina Barlick grew up going to the office of her father, legendary real estate developer Armando Codina. She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Business, where she co-founded the MIT Sloan Real Estate Club.
She worked as a lease analyst with Tishman Speyer Properties and a project manager with Flagler Development Group before starting Codina Partners with her father in 2009. Before becoming CEO, she oversaw the development of Downtown Doral, a 120-acre master-planned community. One of the company’s current projects is Beacon Logistics Park, a complex with more than a million square feet of warehouse space now under construction in Miami.
Among her civic involvements, she has served on the Miami City Ballet’s board of trustees.
This year, Codina Barlick was selected for the Henry Crown Fellowship Program by the Aspen Institute, which each year selects 20 leaders from among a group of entrepreneurs between ages 30 and 45.
