The son of a Methodist minister and civil rights leader, Crossman has earned a reputation as a real estate dealmaker with a desire to give back through philanthropy in education. In 2017 he started Career Builders, which has endowed 11 scholarships at seven universities — especially at HBCUs — to open doors for minorities. That same year, he also launched Crossmarc Services, a commercial real estate company that provides brokerage, advisory and investment services. On the side, he hosts The Crossman Conversation, a weekly radio show carried on the Shepherd Radio Network and the Apple and Spotify podcast networks. A sought-after speaker at industry events and colleges, he wrote a book, Career Killers/Career Builders, based on his most-requested speech.
