LeClair has led Echelon, which has built and developed more than 10 million square feet of commercial and multifamily real estate, for more than two decades. Echelon began as Echelon International, which spun off from Florida Progress. LeClair was Florida Progress’ vice president of mergers and acquisitions and divestitures. He has negotiated more than $3 billion in real estate, aircraft, manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, building products and retail acquisition and divestiture projects. He was inducted into the Tampa Bay Business Hall of Fame in 2015. LeClair’s charitable work includes service with Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, the James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art, Goodwill Industries-Suncoast, St. Anthony’s Hospital, the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce and the University of South Florida St. Petersburg.
