RICHARD GOLDMAN
CO-FOUNDER, XCEED PREPARATORY ACADEMY, WESTON
Former Nova Southeastern University graduate education dean and private school leader Goldman founded the Xceed private school chain in 2016 with his son, Brent. The hybrid model combines live teachers, online content and a small real estate footprint, making it possible to locate in office buildings or sports academies. It focuses on subject mastery, not seat time, allowing students to have custom schedules to travel or devote time to athletics, performing arts and other activities. It now numbers six campuses open or under development in Southeast Florida and a virtual school. Goldman’s bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate all are from the University of Pittsburgh.
