Tracy Duda Chapman

She’s the scion of the Florida farming family started by Slovakian Andrew Duda who immigrated here in 1909 and began with 40 acres. Duda’s three sons laid the foundation for what today is a diversified real estate company with holdings across the nation and interests in vegetables, cattle, sugarcane, sod and citrus. More than a third of a century ago, it began developing Viera. The company says its purpose is: “We multiply and share God’s blessings. This philosophy is central to all of Duda’s business operations and actions.” The company president and CEO is Samuel “Sammy” Duda. Duda Chapman has been active in the Florida Chamber and philanthropy. The company donated, for instance, the land for the Brevard Zoo and continues to be a major supporter. She earned her bachelor’s at the University of Alabama and her law degree from the University of Florida.
