Quinter joined Gunster in 2022 as chair of the firm’s new U.S. Customs and International Trade Law Group. “As a leader and respected voice in the international trade community in Florida, I have written and lectured extensively regarding the importance of international trade with other countries, including China, Mexico and Canada, and the challenges to American businesses of attempting to create barriers to trade,” he says.

DREAM ALTERNATE CAREER: I fancied owning a Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream shop and even completed the application and scooped ice cream. I love to travel and still think I would be a great travel consultant.
INDUSTRY TREND: COVID changed everything — where and when we work, what we wear and how we interact with co-workers (it’s virtual). I went in person to the office every day of COVID. I enjoy the interaction with my co-workers, but realize the future is virtual. Anyone can work anywhere, anytime, and still be as, or even more, productive.
