Fred Voccola

CEO, Kaseya, Miami

Kaseya is a global provider of cybersecurity and IT management software for small to midsize businesses. Since Voccola started as CEO in 2015, the company has grown to more than 5,000 employees globally and about 1,800 in Florida. Through the company’s naming-rights agreement for the Kaseya Center, it supports Miami-Dade County’s Peace and Prosperity Plan, which funds programs to curb gun violence and create economic opportunities for residents in the county.  The company established a “Grow Your Own” program to provide opportunities to employees by promoting them to positions that, on paper, they might not be fully ready for. The company gives them the tools and mentoring they need to succeed in their new role. There are hundreds of first-time managers and dozens of first-time VPs at Kaseya and, for many of them, this professional growth allows them to better support their families and even buy their first house.
