ADI Metal is an ISO-certified company in Fort Lauderdale specializing in worldwide metals distribution for marine, government and industrial applications since 1958. McGee has made a point of empowering other women in manufacturing. “I believe that I have had a positive influence on young women in a male-dominated field by showing that we can be just as powerful, independent and confident,” she says.

IF I WERE GOVERNOR: I would do something about the property insurances both commercial and private. The lack of competition and ridiculously high rates are causing people to leave the state as they are unable to cover the rates.

INSPIRING FLORIDIAN: I remain inspired by the late Wayne Huizenga. The man had a knack for business timing and donated so much money to various institutions and charities in Florida.
