As the world’s largest lifestyle retailer of recreational boats and yachts, as well as yacht concierge and superyacht services, MarineMax has more than 4,000 employees and more than 120 locations worldwide, including 70 dealerships and 65 marinas. The company’s integrated businesses include: IGY Marinas, which operates luxury marinas in yachting and sport fishing destinations around the world; Fraser Yachts Group and Northrop & Johnson, superyacht brokerage and luxury yacht services companies; Cruisers Yachts, a manufacturer of sport yachts and motor yachts; Intrepid Powerboats, a premier manufacturer of powerboats; and William Tenders, which makes rigid inflatable tenders for the luxury yacht market. McGill has been CEO since 2018. In the past year, MarineMax moved its headquarters from Clearwater to a hurricane-hardened building in nearby Oldsmar.

SOMETHING SURPRISING: Having more fun than ever with my wife of 27 years, who raised our four sons — born 18 months apart.
HOBBIES: My wife and I enjoy spending time with our sons, traveling, water skiing, surfing and volunteering in our community. I also recently took up tennis with my wife, who has been playing for many years.
INDUSTRY TREND: Digital technology has greatly enhanced the boating and yachting experiences for our customers. Our Boating Made Easy app is a platform that allows our customers to connect digitally with local MarineMax stores, shop for the boat of their dreams, request service, maintenance and view upcoming events, classes and our planned getaways. AI will continue to pave the way to help us work more efficiently and also better understand consumer and boater behaviors.
