Usha Menon
SENIOR ASSOCIATE VICE PRESIDENT, USF HEALTH, DEAN, USF HEALTH COLLEGE OF NURSING, Tampa
As dean of the USF Health College of Nursing for the past four years, Menon has been involved in efforts at the state and local level to resolve the nursing and nurse faculty shortage. She’s also led initiatives to decrease health inequities in the Tampa Bay region by increasing the number of nursing school graduates who stay in the region and supporting free primary and prevention services across the region via a mobile health unit. Under her leadership, USF ranked No. 1 among all Florida public institutions (and 24th nationally) for its Master of Science in Nursing program in U.S. News & World Report 2025 rankings. The college’s Nurse Anesthesiology program also ranked No. 1 among Florida’s public schools.
