EDUCATION: Cornell University (BS)

FIRST JOB: My first real job was starting Blackboard as a student at Cornell. It wasn’t just a business — it was a mission to transform how education worked, and it sparked my lifelong drive to use technology to make a meaningful impact.

DREAM ALTERNATE CAREER: A science fiction author or a futurist. I’ve always been drawn to the intersection of imagination and innovation.

MENTEE IMPACT: One mentee of mine went from engineer to startup founder. I helped him craft his pitch, raise capital, and believe in his vision. Years later, he told me that my belief in him came at exactly the right moment — and changed his trajectory.

SOMETHING SURPRISING: Most people don’t know that I'm dyslexic and struggled for years in school.

INDUSTRY TREND: The most notable trend in health care tech is the rise of AI copilots — tools that don’t replace physicians, but supercharge them. From ambient documentation to predictive care, AI is finally moving from hype to utility, reshaping workflows and outcomes across the care continuum.
