In addition to running an aerospace and defense giant, Kubasik has spent the past year chairing the board at the Aerospace Industries Association, which represents more than 300 manufacturers and suppliers. Aerospace and defense are “the center of our nation’s arsenal,” he says, “and our mission to deliver the most advanced solutions is more important than ever.” A 30-year veteran of the industry, Kubasik became L3Harris CEO in 2021. The company employs roughly 50,000 people and has customers in more than 100 countries. Kubasik and his wife, Jane, also work with second-year student athletes at their alma mater, the University of Maryland, through the Kubasik First Impact Program. It aims to help students prepare for life after sports.
