ROBERT SANCHEZ

In his 30-plus year career at Ryder System, Sanchez has served in numerous executive leadership positions, including president and COO, CFO and CIO. He was named chairman and CEO of the transportation and logistics company in 2013. His growth strategy as CEO has focused on the large segment of businesses that do not yet outsource their fleet management and supply chain functions. Before joining Ryder, he held engineering positions at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft and Florida Power & Light. With $11.8 billion in revenues, Ryder System was the 14th biggest company in Florida in 2024. The company has 47,500 employees. Sanchez is a graduate of the University of Miami and earned an MBA at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
