TONY LEFEBVRE
CEO, SIGNATURE AVIATION, ORLANDO
Signature Aviation is the world’s largest network of private aviation terminals and a preeminent hospitality company. Its global footprint includes 6,000 employees in more than 200 locations. Lefebvre has been a leader at Signature since 2013. “The general aviation industry has undergone a remarkable evolution over the past decade,” he says. “No longer just about getting from point A to point B, it’s about the experience along the way.”
EDUCATION: University of Maryland (BS)
FIRST JOB: I worked in a restaurant. I started in the kitchen and moved up to a server position, learning the ins and outs of the business along the way.
DREAM ALTERNATE CAREER: I love what I do, so thinking about an alternate career is tough. If I had to pick something, though, it would be to play in the National Hockey League, and preferably as a Stanley Cup champion.
MENTEE IMPACT: I’ve had the privilege of watching many team members grow and thrive in their aviation careers. Some began with dreams of becoming pilots and now fly globally. One standout mentee worked the ramp while putting himself through flight school and is now a commercial airline captain. As a leader, I prioritize creating opportunities for growth. Seeing people achieve their goals is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
