PRESIDENT, GREATER MIAMI AVIATION ASSOCIATION, MIAMI

The GMAA has over 300 corporate members from different aspects of the aviation industry. In addition to representing the interests of such companies, the nonprofit provides networking and education through its monthly luncheons and publications and assists hundreds of students through its scholarship program. Tzur has been with the GMAA for more than a decade and has served as president for eight years. As the president and CEO of Avbiz Aerospace Ventures, Tzur serves as an industry consultant focused on M&A and growth strategies. He’s also dedicated 25 years as a director on the Miami-Dade Beacon Council, representing and promoting the expansion and retention of aviation projects in Miami-Dade County.

FIRST JOB: At age 16, selling paintings door-to-door. I was hustling!

DREAM ALTERNATE CAREER: Owner of an NBA basketball team (preferably Miami Heat). Alternatively, a wine sommelier.

MENTEE IMPACT: Over my many years in business, I believe I have influenced people to do things the right way: Have integrity, passion, compassion, loyalty. Dare to dream, work in teams and always pay it forward.

SOMETHING SURPRISING: I love to visit wineries all over the world and talk to wine makers about their wines. Making great wines is a work of art, and takes creativity, patience and perseverance.

HOBBY: We enjoy traveling to exotic locations, scuba diving and getting to know local people, their culture and food.
