PRESIDENT & CEO, INDEPENDENT COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES OF FLORIDA (ICUF), TALLAHASSEE
ICUF is an association of 30 traditional, four-year, non-profit, SACS-accredited colleges and universities in Florida, ranging from the University of Miami and Nova Southeastern in Southeast Florida to smaller schools like Flagler College in St. Augustine and three of the state’s four historically black colleges and universities. Boyd is the first ICUF president to have graduated from an ICUF school, Rollins. He practiced law with his father, who started the Hopping Boyd Green & Sams law firm in Tallahassee.
