Abbreviated as IHRMC, Interessant Hotels & Resort Management Corp. forms strategic partnerships enabling them to build new hotels, acquire existing hotels in lucrative markets, and work with underperforming hotels to increase their business. Raised in India, Gautam earned a master’s degree in hospitality management and was employed as a hotel director for Carnival Cruise Lines and Hawaii Luxury Cruise Lines. Then he moved to the U.S, where he consulted for hotel owners. In 2004, he founded hospitality firm GI Hotel Group. In 2011, it merged with Interessant, with Gautam at the helm. “I’m a hotel doctor,” Gautam told Business View Magazine in 2022. “I’m a hospitality doctor. That is what I know … this is what I’m about.”
