Webb joined PortMiami as a conference coordinator in 1992, climbing the ranks to become director and CEO in 2022. She is the first woman to hold the post. PortMiami is one of the world’s leading cruise ports and one of America’s fastest growing container ports. The seaport generated $61.4 billion in economic activity in 2023 — a 48% increase since 2016 — and port activity supports more than 340,000 jobs. Webb represents PortMiami before an array of economic development and business organizations, including the Cruise Line Industry Association, the World Travel and Tourism Council, the American Association of Port Authorities, the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Greater Miami and the Beaches Hotel Association, the Beacon Council and many other groups. She holds a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Florida.
