EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, LATIN GRAMMY CULTURAL FOUNDATION, MIAMI

The Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation supports music education and empowers global communities through scholarships, educational programs and grants that advance Latin music and celebrate its rich cultural heritage. Egusquiza has led the organization, which has eight full-time employees, since October 2022.

NOTABLE TREND: The industry is shifting toward direct-to-fan models, global genre fusion and the growing importance of education and artist development. There's also increased focus on purpose-driven work — where cultural impact, access and representation matter as much as commercial success.

NEXT BIG FOCUS: At work it is about scaling impact — growing educational programs and partnerships to reach more young creators while deepening the quality of support we provide. Personally, it's about building meaningful connections and being fully present for my son as he grows and discovers his own path.

FOOD FIX: Something comforting and shared — like a great pasta, my abuela's chicken meatball soup, mom's chicken and rice recipe and a glass of wine with good company. It's less about the meal and more about the moment and remembering those childhood moments through the food.
