EDUCATION: Miami University (BA)
FIRST JOB: Coaching a Special Olympics swim team. Working with two athletes with Down syndrome, I watched them progress from blowing bubbles to swimming laps over four years. That experience shaped how I approach leadership today — patience, belief in people’s potential, and celebrating every milestone, big or small.
PASSION PROJECT: I’ve been slowly restoring the fixer-upper I bought years ago, trying to preserve its Old Florida character. It hasn’t always been a labor of love, but it’s been a great teacher in patience, resilience and craftsmanship. Along the way, I’ve developed a real appreciation for the history of Florida homes — and for every unexpected challenge that comes with them.
INDUSTRY TREND: The shift from reactive protection to proactive. Today’s customers expect more than alerts — they want integrated systems that can predict, prevent and personalize safety.
DREAM ALTERNATE CAREER
“In my next life, I’d love to be a screenwriter for 'The Simpsons.' Creativity, humor and storytelling have always been passions of mine.”
