BRETT BEVERIDGE
FOUNDER & CEO, THE REVENUE OPTIMIZATION COS. (T-ROC GLOBAL), CORAL GABLES
At 23, Beveridge and a friend started selling cell phones out of a van in parking lots. Their enterprise grew into Let’s Talk Cellular & Wireless, the largest independent wireless retailer in the U.S. at the time with nearly 300 stores nationwide. He took that company public and sold it to Nextel. In 2000, Beveridge founded T-ROC, a branding and consulting company that supports companies in navigating today's shopping experience and driving sales. Beveridge was most recently accepted to the Florida Council of 100 and serves as chair emeritus of the Consumer Technology Association’s Wireless Board after 24 years of active involvement. He also sits on the Retail AI Council.
EDUCATION: University of Miami (BA)
PASSION PROJECT: I’ve always loved movies, and I partnered with my daughter, Lauren, to be executive producers of “Mack & Rita,” starring Diane Keaton, which opened in theaters in August 2022 before moving to the streaming platform Hulu. Together, we opened a production company and have gone on to produce more films.
NONPROFIT PASSION: I’m especially passionate about the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. I’ve been involved with them for the last two decades, helping to match at-risk kids with dedicated mentors. One of my personal goals is to help shape young lives and offer them a better future.
