DAN DOYLE Jr.

CO-FOUNDER & CEO, DEX IMAGING, TAMPA

In 2002, Doyle persuaded his father, Dan Doyle Sr. — co-founder of Danka Business Systems — to come out of retirement to build a Florida-based business. Their resulting company, DEX Imaging, is now the nation’s largest independent office equipment dealer, supplying document and imaging tech from copiers and printers to larger systems. As of 2023, it had 42 sales and service offices in 11 Southeast and Midwest states and 62 service hubs throughout the country. Doyle was awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in the Technology Industries category in 2013. He has also served as a chair of the Young Presidents Organization and on the boards of directors of the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation, the Community Foundation of Tampa and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Earlier this year, New York-based Gamut Capital Management announced it would acquire DEX Imaging.
