TEDDY MORSE
CHAIRMAN & CEO, ED MORSE AUTOMOTIVE GROUP, DELRAY BEACH
After serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, Ed Morse started a car rental company with his dad in 1946. Their fleet grew from 20 vehicles to 2,000, leading the Morse family to purchase their first dealership in 1961 in Miami. Now, the 70-year-old Ed Morse Automotive Group stands as one of the country's largest family-owned automotive dealer groups. Teddy — grandson of founder Ed — started as the general manager of the group’s flagship dealership in Fort Lauderdale, earning Cadillac Dealer of the Year twice. He moved to the corporate office in 2012 and now, as CEO, leads 2,300 employees around the country, totaling more than $1 billion in annual sales. He is also on the corporate board roster of the Boys & Girls Club of Broward County and is the chairperson for the annual Ed Morse Golf Classic benefiting the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
