EDUCATION: Moravian College (BA), Florida International University (MS)
IF I WERE GOVERNOR: I would pass positive legislation that would support more affordable housing in our state. This is a catastrophic economic imperative.
MENTOR: The former (state) Sen. Nan Rich is a mentor and a guiding light. She is a tireless advocate for all residents. She fiercely fights for basic human rights for seniors, children, people of color and champions access to health care, affordability in housing, aging with dignity and educational opportunities for all youth. She never stops and never tires.
INSPIRING FLORIDIAN: Mayor Daniella Levine Cava is not only the mayor of Miami-Dade County, but she is a lawyer and a social worker. Her fortitude and unapologetic tenacity are creating long-lasting positive change for all residents of the county and beyond.
MOTIVATIONAL MANTRA: Bring others up along the way and we all become successful. This attribute has brought great success to me and to so many around me. We do it together, always!
