PRESIDENT & CEO, BAPTIST HEALTH SOUTH FLORIDA, CORAL GABLES

Baptist Health is the South Florida region’s largest not-for-profit health care system with a workforce of over 28,000 employees and more than 4,500 affiliated physicians. The organization is made up of 12 hospitals and more than 200 outpatient facilities and physician practices spanning four counties. Baptist Health also is advancing the training of the next generation of doctors via partnerships with Florida International University and Florida Atlantic University. Boulenger began his career with Baptist Health in 1985 and took the reins as CEO in 2022. He serves on the board of Partnership for Miami, a nonprofit organization that works to build a more resilient and prosperous Miami.

FIRST JOB: One of my favorite jobs was shucking oysters at CJ’s while I was an undergraduate at the University of Florida. It’s tough work, but a lot of fun!

HOBBIES: As a Florida native, I love to be active outside year-round. I am a lifelong surfer, which keeps me feeling grounded and focused. I also enjoy freediving and fly-fishing, anything that allows me to stay connected with nature and enjoy quality time with family and friends.
