Cauffield, who has been CEO for 11 years, has also served as president of the Florida Council on Aging and on a panel advising the White House on drug control policy.
EDUCATION: University of Central Florida (BS),
Georgia State University (MS), Florida Tech University (Psy.D.)
FIRST JOB: My first job after college was with Delta Airlines. I served in the management of the inflight service division. Some flight attendants struggled with eating disorders, alcoholism and drug addiction, and working with them fueled my desire to go back to graduate school and enter the field of psychology.
SOMETHING SURPRISING: I recently was in a movie that was filmed in rural Oklahoma. With no prior experience, it was exciting to learn about acting and film making. The film is in the final stage of editing. My character is the aunt of three nieces who lost their mother (my sister in the film) two years ago. It was great fun to stretch and experience a totally different field.
