DROR PALEY
FOUNDER, CEO & MEDICAL DIRECTOR, PALEY ORHOPEDIC & SPINE INSTITUTE, WEST PALM BEACH
Paley launched his eponymous orthopedics practice 15 years ago, and it’s grown into what he calls a “premier destination for orthopedic care, ranking among the finest in the United States and leading globally in certain specialties.” Along with West Palm Beach, it has offices in Jupiter, Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale and satellites in Warsaw, Abu Dhabi and Medellin. It has 29 surgeons and employs 310. It draws patients from every state and more than 100 countries and generates 15,000 hotel room nights a year, he says — making it the largest medical tourism orthopedic group in the world. Paley went to medical school at the University of Toronto. He’s invented 100 surgical procedures and authored nine books, 75 book chapters and more than 200 peer-reviewed articles. “I started the Paley Foundation to support charitable surgery mission trips to Haiti and Nicaragua. My wife and I started the Paley Family Fund and donate to many charitable organizations,” he says.
