IF I WERE GOVERNOR: I would increase the amount of state investment in infrastructure across RURAL Florida. While significant progress has been made in the past four to five years, there is still a critical need to invest in critical infrastructure in properties and sites determined to have viable economic development potential.
INSPIRING FLORIDIAN: Former Gov. Reubin Askew. I had the great blessing of literally working and interacting with Gov. Askew at the Florida Institute of Government. He led our state during a very critical and challenging time, was unconditionally committed to his faith and core values, and was truly one of the most honorable men I have ever known.
