Britton has headed Florida’s SBDC Network since 2021. A partner of the federal Small Business Administration, it offers no-cost business consulting, training and research services to help small businesses grow. Britton has more than 25 years of experience in aviation, medical, oil and gas, and high-tech manufacturing.

EDUCATION: Trine University (BS)

FIRST JOB: Working alongside my dad at a tool and die manufacturing company when I was very young. It was hands-on, detail-oriented work that taught me the value of attention to detail, problem-solving and teamwork — lessons that have stayed with me throughout my career.

SOMETHING SURPRISING: I own a small watersports business. It’s a great way to stay connected to my community, enjoy Florida’s outdoor lifestyle, unwind ... and keep my entrepreneurial spirit sharp.

HOBBY: One of my longstanding passions is private aviation. While I’m not currently flying, the skill and precision involved in piloting has always captivated me. My interest in aviation began early and was shaped in part by time spent around the industry and my aerospace engineering degree.
