BRETT DOSTER

PRESIDENT & EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, FRONT LINE AGENCY, TALLAHASSEE

Doster has been president of the Front Line Agency since it was founded in 2005. A full-service media and public relations firm serving elected officials and candidates throughout the state and nation, the agency has more than a half-dozen employees and dozens of subcontractors. “Whether it be improving public safety, making world-class education more available and affordable, cutting taxes, or protecting our constitutional rights, we help our clients keep their campaign promises and effect real change in the Free State of Florida,” Doster says.

EDUCATION: The Citadel (BA)

FIRST JOB: My first job was being a janitor for a law firm, where I cleaned up after people who thought they were very important. Little did I know how well it would prepare me for working for political leaders. Young people should get jobs early to teach them that success is found in glorifying God and working hard to make the entire team better, no matter how menial the task is perceived to be.

DREAM ALTERNATE CAREER: Although Front Line takes up a large percentage of my time, my brother and I have been co-hosting the America In View radio show and podcast for the last 2 years. I love broadcasting and giving often-overlooked leaders a platform for making our nation and culture better.

SOMETHING SURPRISING: Most people don’t know that I am a first-generation homeschooled nerd, a very uncool and unusual education pathway in the late ’80s. I was the first student homeschooled all the way through high school that was accepted to The Citadel and later graduated.

PASSION PROJECT: My wife and kids always come first, but advocating for good public policy has always been another passion project of mine. As chairman of the newly formed End Property Tax Now organization, I love the direction that Governor DeSantis and the Legislature are taking to start Florida down the road to being the first state in the union to eliminate property taxes. We get this right, and Florida will become the economic leader of the world.
