Anson has been a leader at STS for 31 years. It provides maintenance and engineering services to operators of large commercial and military aircraft. The company employs about 3,000 worldwide. It provides access to its facilities for middle and high school kids to learn about aviation to stimulate grassroots interest. “STS partners with our local organization, Hibiscus House, which is a home for disadvantaged children, to provide family-style holidays throughout the year,” Anson says.

DREAM ALTERNATE CAREER: I would love to be a celebrity chef and have my own show.

SOMETHING SURPRISING: I have two tortoises as pets.

PASSION PROJECT: I am participating in a conservation project on a ranch in northern Colorado, transforming a cattle ranch back to game land habitat for elk.

NONPROFIT PASSION: I am passionate about and support many programs locally that expose young people to the aviation industry, in general, but more specifically as entrepreneurs.
