Partners is a professional services firm that manages day-to-day operations for not-for-profit organizations. Clients include trade associations, professional societies, certification bodies and foundations. Napier has been president/CEO for most of the company's 27-year history.

EDUCATION: University of North Carolina at Charlotte (BA), Florida State University (MS)

FIRST JOB: Working at a local pharmacy in North Carolina. I started working there when I was 14 and worked there until I graduated from high school. I did a little bit of everything — running the soda and ice cream station, stocking shelves, taking inventory and running the register for the pharmacy section.

DREAM ALTERNATE CAREER: Serving as a U.S. Department of State Foreign Service officer. I have met several current and retired FSOs. I am in awe of the lifelong dedication and personal sacrifices they and their families have contributed to ensure that people around the world have firsthand understanding of American ideals.

SOMETHING SURPRISING: I am an avid hard rock fan. I have seen Ozzy (17 times in concert), Metallica (12 times in concert), KISS (13 times in concert), Motley Crue (13 times in concert), Judas Priest (10 times in concert), etc. I grew up in a musical household. I enjoy all music but gravitated to hard rock and heavy metal.
