Since arriving at the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 2021, Weir has taken a leading role in representing Florida at the national level, guiding the accounting profession through significant transformation as part of AICPA's National Pipeline Advisory Group. Last year, the FICPA unveiled Bridge the CPA, offering accounting employees the chance to finish their education required for licensure at no cost through the MAcc program at Nova Southeastern University.
