The Southern Group is a government relations firm with more than 40 lobbyists in seven Florida offices. When Cohen joined it in 2005, she became the first female managing partner in the firm’s history. She says “other firms took notice of our decision to empower and elevate women and followed our lead. Women deserve a seat at every table.” She currently serves on the boards of Orlando Economic Partnership, Starter Studio, Orlando Children's Trust and Creative City Project.
