DJD Group invests in developing high-growth, early-stage businesses. DeFossett is active with many companies and associations, serving on or chairing the boards of the New York City-based Private Equity Fund, ITT, Terex, Tampa Sports Authority, the Florida Council of 100, the Straz Performing Arts Center Foundation, the University of Tampa and the Florida Council for Economic Education. He is the former CEO of Walter Industries.
